El Sureño Americano is a collectible art publication produced by Santiago Forero and Corporación Artefacto. The publication was edited by Corporación Artefacto and Lemoine Comunicación. El Sureño Americano contains photographs by Santiago Forero and texts by Giovanni Figueroa. It is a publication that presents all the images from the El Sureño Americano project, a photographic investigation into illegal immigrants in the United States carried out by Santiago Forero in 2005. It was launched on May 1 at the Bogotá International Book Fair FILBO 2017, International Workers' Day.
